Well here I am back at work after the holidays. My visit home was FAR too short. At the same time it wasn't very fulfilling. Things are different for more than one reason. Dzaidziu is not there anymore so there really was NO hope of Christmas being good.
Things will NEVER be the same again. It was strange and awkward and uncomfortable without him.
Scott was back and I had not seen him for two years. It was nice to see him but there was not much time to get caught up. I barely saw everyone else. I only saw Scott a lot because he lives two doors down.
New Years wasn't any fun for me. I guess the things I used to enjoy just isn't fun anymore. That and the fact many of the gang copped out on going. It's not the same and I guess it's time to just move on. Next year I'm just going to return here for New Year's instead.
